George Michael stayed at the (old) Walliserhof, during the filming of the video of the famous song Last Christmas. In summer, the hotel organises guided walks to feed the wild marmots of Saas-Fee.

Our rooms and suites are located in the hotel's main building and in the flat house, which can be reached on foot from the main building.

At the gourmet restaurant Cäsar Ritz, chef Michael Wirkes pampers guests with delicious, local and gourmet dishes. On Sundays and Mondays, this restaurant is closed, but then you can happily visit the Italian restaurant Del Ponte, open from Thursday to Monday. Of course there is pasta, pizza and prosciutto at Del Ponte, home-made and with the best ingredients. But in addition, the culinary team, using selected regional and seasonal ingredients, prepares dishes from the most diverse regions of Italy. In the original Fondue-Stübli restaurant, they serve typical Swiss dishes. Whether it's cheese fondue or raclette in different variations, tradition comes first here. For drinks, visit the hotel bar or the cigar & whisky lounge.
The hotel is located in car-free Saas-Fee, in the middle of the Swiss Alps. Zermatt and the Matterhorn can be easily reached by car. Be sure to visit the impressive Aletsch Glacier, which is a 1-hour drive from the hotel.

A transfer is possible upon request. Given its quiet location, we recommend getting to Walliserhof by private car or rental car.
Saas-Fee is car-free and therefore no parking is available at the hotel, but there is a public car park located 500 metres from the hotel. A free shuttle bus will take you to the hotel.
