This modernly designed, large-scale hotel is located on a headland in the seaside resort of Punta Skala. It offers direct access to a private pebble beach. The adjoining garden with hammocks and gazebos is a bon vivant's paradise. The impressive 'Acquapura Spa' is one of the nicest wellness centres in Croatia. All rooms are spacious and bright and pleasantly furnished with quality materials. They overlook the car park/garden/urbanisation/hotel or have a lateral sea view and have a balcony, parquet floors, telephone, air conditioning, heating, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, safe, and minibar. In the bathroom you will find a bathtub, a spacious shower, toilet, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and a beach bag.
All rooms are comfortable, although we prefer a room with lateral sea view.
The outdoor swimming pool is open from about April until October, according to the weather conditions. Sun beds and parasols are provided. There is also a private pebble beach with loungers and parasols.
You can play beach volleyball, basketball, and football. Subject to a supplement you can participate in numerous water sports like diving, surfing, and water skiing. There is the beautiful 'Acquapura Spa' with free access to the indoor freshwater swimming pool, connected to a second outdoor pool, hammam, steam bath, underground earth sauna, jacuzzi, and fitness room. Treatments and massages are available at a supplement. In July 2021, the Fortis Club opened a large event room, a fitness room, game rooms, a trendy restaurant with a focus on healthy eating, a bar and so much more. Free sports and relaxation programmes guided by a coach including yoga, pilates, and meditation are also possible. Subject to a supplement you can play tennis, mini-golf, go cycling, and rent a boat with or without a skipper. The hotel has an ideal location for excursions to the Krka falls, the Kornati islands, Trogir, and Nin, among others.
There is an extensive and very good breakfast buffet with 'show cooking', which you can enjoy on the terrace in fine weather. The Bracera restaurant offers Mediterranean dishes in the evening. There is a starter and dessert buffet and you can order à la carte gourmet dishes. For salads and healthy snacks, you can go to the bistro, and for pizzas and grill dishes to 'Konoba'.
