Important information:

  • To travel to Scotland, you need a valid international passport. A Belgian identity card is not accepted for entry into the United Kingdom.
  • Travellers must apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before arrival. This can be done through the official UK government website (gov.uk) (ETA) or via the UK ETA app. Avoid unofficial websites. The ETA costs £16 per person and approval may take up to three working days. Prefer that we arrange this for you? We’re happy to take care of it as soon as we have your passport details.

Day 1: Welcome to Inverness

Arrive in Inverness, the capital of the Highlands. After checking in, you have plenty of time to explore the city at your own pace. Stroll along the River Ness, wander through the Old Town, and enjoy your first taste of Scottish hospitality in the evening.

Day 2: From Loch Ness and Eilean Donan to the Isle of Skye

Your road trip begins along the world-famous shores of Loch Ness, where you stop at the atmospheric ruins of Urquhart Castle. From there, continue past the iconic Eilean Donan Castle, dramatically set on an islet where three sea lochs meet, and cross the Skye Bridge onto the enchanting Isle of Skye.

Day 3: Isle of Skye & Whisky & Chocolate Experience

Today is dedicated to the dramatic Trotternish Peninsula, home to the striking rock formations of The Quiraing and Kilt Rock. Alongside scenic coastal stops, a highlight of the day awaits: an exclusive Whisky & Chocolate Experience at the renowned Talisker Distillery on the shores of Loch Harport.

Day 4: Over the Bealach na Bà to Torridon

Leave Skye behind and head into Wester Ross via one of Scotland’s most breathtaking driving routes. Conquer the legendary Bealach na Bà, a dramatic mountain pass offering sweeping views across the Applecross Peninsula. Winding past charming coastal villages, you continue towards the majestic mountain scenery of Torridon.

Day 5: Private RIB Adventure to the Summer Isles & Seafood in Ullapool

Spend a peaceful morning taking in the nature around Torridon before driving to Ullapool for a true highlight: aboard a private RIB, you head out to the remote Summer Isles. From the water, admire the rugged coastline and keep an eye out for seals, dolphins, and sea eagles. Back on land, enjoy freshly caught seafood at The Seafood Shack.

Day 6: Via Loch Maree and Strathpeffer to Dornoch

An idyllic drive takes you past Loch Maree and through the sweeping valley of Glen Docherty. Along the way, enjoy a brief woodland walk at Rogie Falls and pause in the elegant Victorian spa village of Strathpeffer. End the day in the historic coastal town of Dornoch.

Day 7: A Relaxed Farewell to Dornoch & Journey Home

Enjoy a gentle final morning in Dornoch with time to stroll through the town centre, visit the medieval cathedral, or take a refreshing walk along the beach. Afterwards, make your way back south towards Inverness for your return journey home.
