Koh Lanta lies between sea and jungle and is all about nature and outdoor living. Long stretches of sandy beach flow gently into the Andaman Sea, longtail boats drift just offshore, and behind the beach a lush interior unfolds with palms and jungle. During the day, you stroll along the water, visit small fishing villages, or seek out the quiet of a secluded bay. Offshore, colourful coral reefs draw snorkellers and divers, with the occasional manta ray or whale gliding through the blue. As evening falls, the sky turns a warm shade of orange and you sit down for dinner with your feet in the sand.
