Day 1: city walk and bike ride to the beach
Your day starts with exploring the city in a child-friendly way. With young children, you can choose the children's walking route “follow Juan the mouse” or with older children you can follow a street art tour. In the afternoon, you cycle through Turia Park to the sea. The Turia was once a river that ran through the city, but it has now been drained. The riverbed has been turned into a green space and is now a park with plenty of places to picnic and play. Spend the afternoon on the large beach with palm trees.
Day 2: Picnic and zoo
Today you will be introduced to Spanish cuisine. Mercado Central is a covered market full of fruit, vegetables and local specialities. Put together your picnic and take it to Turia Park, where you can enjoy a tasty lunch while the children play. After lunch, stop by Parc Gulliver, a place with numerous slides. In the afternoon, visit Bioparc Valencia, one of the most beautiful zoos in Europe. Another option is L'Oceanografic, the largest aquarium in Europe with an incredible variety of marine animals from all over the world.
Day 3: Cooking workshop and nature park
In the morning, you will take part in a cooking workshop. Together with your children, you will make paella! Afterwards, you will taste the homemade paella. In the afternoon, you will take a boat trip through the Albufera nature park. In a traditional fishing boat, you will explore Spain's largest freshwater lake and enjoy the panoramic views of the vast rice fields and unique flora and fauna around you. Another option is a private bike tour or walking tour with culinary stops.
Day 4: Return home
Unfortunately, your city trip has come to an end. You fly back home with great photos and wonderful memories.
