Day 1: Exploring the city

After arriving in Valencia, explore the old city centre at your own pace and enjoy a drink on a terrace. In the evening, a local will take you to the best tapas bars during a tapas walk through the city centre. You will visit three locations and have the opportunity to sample a wide variety of tapas. This will also serve as your dinner for the first evening and is the best way to discover the historic city centre.

Day 2: Bike tour and museums

Valencia is ideal for exploring by bike. It is a real cycling city and it is therefore very safe to cycle there. At a relaxed pace, you will discover the highlights of Valencia with a Dutch-speaking guide. After lunch, visit the City of Arts and Sciences. The Museo de las Ciencias offers interactive exhibitions on science and technology. Anything but boring! You can also choose to visit Oceanogràfic, the largest aquarium in Europe. In the evening, you will learn how to make the one and only paella during a workshop, which you can eat afterwards. Delicious!

Day 3: Utiel-Requena

Explore the Valencian vineyards and valleys during a day trip to the wine region of Utiel-Requena. During this excursion, you will discover how wine is produced. You will visit a winery and afterwards enjoy a tasting of the best wines, cavas and olive oils. On top of that, a delicious local lunch is included. You can walk off the calories during a guided walk through the narrow alleys of Requena.
