Profile

This trip is ideal if you want a few days of sun, good food and occasional visits, without changing hotels.

Day 1: Arrival at Asia Gardens

After arrival, you drive to Hotel Asia Gardens & Thai Spa, just outside Benidorm. From the moment you enter, you are surrounded by palm trees, ponds and small paths running through the gardens. After check-in, you take time to explore the property.

In the afternoon, you can already enjoy the hotel facilities or simply relax in your room. In the evening, you head to The Island restaurant. You dine outside overlooking the bay of Altea as it gradually lights up after sunset.

Day 2: Guadalest and Fonts de l’Algar

After breakfast, you drive inland through the Costa Blanca. The road passes hills and small villages until you reach Guadalest, set high above a reservoir. You walk through narrow streets, small shops and viewpoints. After your visit, you continue to the Fonts de l’Algar, where clear water flows over rocks and small waterfalls, with the option to swim.

In the evening, you return to the hotel. For dinner, you reserve a table at Koh Samui, known for its Thai cuisine.

Day 3: Altea and the coastline from the water

Today you drive to Altea, known for its old town. You park below and walk up towards the church with the blue dome, passing galleries, terraces and narrow streets. At the top, you get views over the sea and coastline.

In the afternoon, you board a private boat. You sail along the cliffs of the Sierra Helada and see the coastline from the sea. Depending on the conditions, you can stop for a swim. After the boat trip, you return to Altea for a drink or tapas before heading back to the hotel.

Day 4: Spa and free time

No fixed plans today. You start the day quietly in the gardens with a guided Tai Chi or Qi Gong session. Afterwards, you experience the hotel in a different way. A treatment is scheduled at the Thai Spa, in an outdoor pavilion surrounded by greenery. The rest of the day is free.

Day 5: Wine and departure

On your last day, you drive to a bodega near Alfàs del Pi. You visit the vineyards and production area, followed by a tasting of local wines.

After the visit, you return to the hotel for a final afternoon. Enjoy the pool one more time or have a relaxed lunch. In the evening, you end at In Black restaurant with a more refined, gastronomic approach.

Extension: Valencia (3 days)

Day 6: To Valencia

After check-out, you drive about one and a half hours to Valencia. You arrive in the city and check in at Hospes Palau de la Mar, near the Turia gardens. Thanks to its location, you are quickly in the city centre.

In the afternoon, you start with a first exploration. You walk towards the City of Arts and Sciences or head into the shopping streets. To discover the city differently, you can choose a private guided bike tour through the main areas and neighbourhoods. If you prefer to slow down, you can use the hotel spa. In the evening, you choose where to dine, either at the hotel or in one of the nearby restaurants.

Day 7: City and market

Today, you explore Valencia on foot. You start in El Carmen, walking through narrow streets and passing several historic buildings. You then visit Mercado Central, where you walk past stalls with local products and taste small bites. Afterwards, you can climb the Miguelete tower for views over the city. For lunch, you head to Ruzafa, a neighbourhood with a more local feel and many small restaurants.

The afternoon is free. You can visit a museum, continue exploring the city or return to the hotel. In the evening, you again choose where to dine.

Day 8: Beach and departure

On your last day, you head towards the sea via the old Turia riverbed. You can do this by bike or simply on foot, depending on what you feel like. The path runs through parks and brings you to La Malvarrosa beach. By the sea, you take time for a final lunch, ideally at a restaurant along the promenade where paella is on the menu. Afterwards, you return to the hotel to collect your belongings before heading to the airport.
