Profile
Ideal for travellers and families who enjoy nature and adventure, love hiking and outdoor activities, and want to experience Switzerland in a varied way without compromising on comfort.
Day 1 : Departure to Arosa
Your first stop is Arosa, where you will check into a beautiful 4-star hotel and enjoy the surroundings. Those arriving early in Switzerland can stop by car at the Rheinfall or at the centuries-old Abbey Library of Sankt Gallen.
Day 2 : Arosa or the Rhine Gorge
Wake up to crisp mountain air and immerse yourself in breathtaking landscapes. In Arosa, discover crystal-clear mountain lakes, rolling alpine meadows, and winding trails leading to spectacular viewpoints. Visit the Arosa Bärenland, a sanctuary where rescued bears roam in a natural environment. Or choose an adventurous day exploring the Rhine Gorge, often called the "Swiss Grand Canyon." Here, the Rhine carves its way through dramatic cliffs and deep ravines, making it a stunning setting for kayaking or a scenic hike along the edge of the gorge.
Day 3 : Chur
Those who like to seek out local culture can visit Switzerland's oldest city, Chur, accessible from Arosa via a panoramic 1-hour train ride.
Day 4 : Arosa - St. Moritz
The journey continues to Sankt Moritz, the "place to be" in winter for skiing, but also has a lot to offer during the summer months.
Day 5 : St. Moritz
From this exclusive ski resort, you can easily reach the Swiss National Park, where you can spot ibex, chamois, marmots, bearded vultures and golden eagles. Reach Point Muragl via the funicular train, where you can see panoramic views of Sankt Moritz and the valley at almost 2,500 metres.
Day 6 : St. Moritz - Lugano
You will leave the fresh mountain air for a while and drive on to Lugano, where you will stay for 3 nights. Ascona is close to the Italian border, on the shores of Lake Lugano. It is needless to say that you will find delicious pasta here and stay in a cosy environment created by a nice mix of Italian and Swiss influences.
Day 7 : Ascona
Explore the region by boat, bike, or kayak and enjoy a delightful day by the lake. Our hotel features a beautiful sun deck and lounge chairs, and water sports can also be booked. In the evening, it's wonderful to unwind at the harbor and in the center of Lugano, where several excellent restaurants will give you an unforgettable evening.
Day 8 : Valle Verzasca and Valle Maggia
In need of a nice hike? Then Valle Verzasca and Valle Maggia are highly recommended. Walk through a fairytale landscape with ancient bridges and villages, in valleys where time seems to have stood still. Or bring a visit to the Bellinzona Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Day 9 : Ascona - Adelboden
You continue your journey, winding along the Gotthard Pass, to Adelboden.
Day 10 : Adelboden
Put on your hiking boots and explore the Vogellisi Trail with a certified guide. Those seeking pure adrenaline can climb the Via Ferrata or check out the local adventure park. Be sure to inquire about paragliding, which we are happy to arrange for you.
Day 11 : Adelboden - Vevey (Montreux)
On the way to Vevey, you pass through Switzerland's capital city, Bern. For those who enjoy soaking up some culture and history, we offer a guide who will introduce you to the city in an engaging manner.
Day 12 : Montreux - Lavaux
Montreux, located on the picturesque shores of Lake Geneva, is a city renowned for its elegant promenade and lush, flower-filled surroundings. Be charmed by the vineyards of Lavaux and taste the passion the Swiss put into their local and much-loved wine.
Day 13 : Glacier 3000
If you're still looking for one last challenge, we recommend exploring The Glacier 3000. The Peak Walk connects 2 mountain peaks at almost 3,000 metres and gives you spectacular views of other mountains that are even 1,000 metres higher.
Day 14 : Going home
