Day 1: Flight to Tanzania
Today your vacation begins at the airport, where you take an international flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport. One advantage is that you will not have jet lag when traveling to Tanzania, as the time difference with Tanzania is + 2 hours in winter time and + 1 hour in summer time.
Day 2 - 3: Moshi
Your private driver, who will transport you throughout the vacation, will pick you up at the airport and take you to your accommodation, a traditional hut with views of Kilimanjaro and the Maasai plains. An English-speaking guide will take you on a day safari by private safari jeep through Arusha National Park. If you like to climb Kilimanjaro (partly), we can make a separate program for you. Count on an additional five to six days. This is always guided and for this you need a good physical condition.
Day 3 - 6: Manyara National Park
The guide with safari jeep will take you further to Manyara National Park where you will spend a day spotting numerous animals. You will spend three nights in an exclusive boutique lodge right on Lake Manyara. In the lesser-known park, Tarangire National Park, you will find the highest concentrations of elephants in the world and discover the giant baobab trees.
Day 6 - 10: Serengeti
Up early today as you depart by safari jeep for the Serengeti. You will stop at a viewpoint where you will have a magnificent view of the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater and drive past vast nature reserves. In Serengeti National Park you will discover more than a million wildebeest, gazelles and zebras and huge numbers of lions, leopards and cheetahs. It's like being in an episode of National Geographic. If you ask us, a balloon ride over the Serengeti is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you really shouldn't miss. And we're happy to arrange it for you! You'll also explore Seronera, the center of the action. This is one of the best places to spot big cats. Between your safari adventures, you'll rest in a luxurious tent, centrally located, in the middle of the Serengeti where you'll enjoy delicious food made by a top chef.
Day 10: Back home or on to Zanzibar
Feel like relaxing a few more days after all that adventure? That's perfectly possible on the pearly white beaches of Zanzibar. After a short flight, you will arrive in Zanzibar where, in addition to resting, you can participate in fun activities. Go guided snorkeling or scuba diving where you can swim with turtles and spot beautiful corals, visit Stone town with a private guide, take a mangrove safari by stand-up paddle, spot red fringe monkeys in Jozani Forest or learn all about Zanzibar's famous spices on a spice farm.
