Day 1: Montreal
Your adventure begins in Montreal, Canada's second-largest city. Explore historic Old Montreal with its cobblestone streets and charming buildings, stroll through Little Italy and visit the largest outdoor market in North America. As your last stop of the day, visit the Golden Square Mile where you will enjoy the magnificent view of the city from Mount Royal. Embark between 4 and 5 pm and the cruise departs at 6 pm.
Day 2: Quebec
After breakfast, start exploring Quebec. Take a guided tour of historic Old Quebec, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and admire the charming stone houses. Visit the iconic Château Frontenac and stroll the Dufferin Boardwalk for panoramic views of the city and river. Afterwards, take time to shop in the cozy pedestrian streets, such as the picturesque Petit-Champlain Street.
Day 3: Tadoussac
Today you will visit charming Tadoussac, a village at the confluence of the Saguenay River and the Gulf of Saint-Laurent. Start your day with a walk along the breathtaking coastline and admire the bright red roof of Tadoussac Chapel. Spend the afternoon at the marine mammal interpretation center and learn all about the whales that frequent Tadoussac Bay. After your visit, end the day with a glass of wine on the terrace of Hotel Tadoussac, overlooking the breathtaking river and surrounding landscape.
Day 4: Day at sea
Today you will enjoy a day at sea. Relax in the spa or find a spot of sunbathing. Feel like getting some exercise? Then work out in the fitness center or swim laps is the pool. Take a short walk on the upper deck and look out over the endless horizon. With any luck, you'll spot dolphins or other sea creatures.
Day 5: Percé
Early in the morning your ship docks in Percé, where you will visit one of Quebec's most beautiful villages, where you will learn about breathtaking nature and impressive geological phenomena. Take time to take a short walk through the picturesque village and enjoy the view of the iconic Percé Rock. Optionally visit nearby Bonaventure Island, with its rich natural and historical heritage. Fancy some adventure? Then opt for a challenging hike to the top of Percé Rock or go for a snorkeling session and explore the underwater world.
Day 6: Cap-aux-Meules
Your sixth day starts with a visit to Cap-aux-Meules, a peaceful place, ideal for exploring unspoiled nature. Located on the island of the same name, which has its origins in the sandstone rocks once used to make grindstones, this village offers access to many natural and historical attractions. Your day ends in Cap-aux-Meules with a brief exploration of picturesque Havre-Aubert, one of Quebec's most beautiful Villages.
Day 7: Louisbourg
After breakfast, visit Louisbourg, the former capital of Île Royale, located on Cape Breton Island. Admire the impressive and beautifully restored Fortress of Louisbourg, one of Canada's most important historical sites. Cross the drawbridge and enter the old square through the Dauphin Gate, guarded by guard soldiers. By noon, you will return aboard the ship.
Day 8: Halifax
In the early morning you will arrive in Halifax, a historic port city on the east coast of Canada. Start your day with a visit to Fairview Cemetery, the resting place of many victims of the Titanic disaster. Then stroll through the charming downtown area or take a trip to the quaint fishing village of Peggy's Cove, known for its iconic lighthouse. In the mood for something different? Then opt for a culinary tour and sample the flavors of Nova Scotia, from creamy chowder to local wines and craft beers. In the late evening, return aboard for a relaxing evening.
Day 9: Yarmouth
On your eighth day, visit Yarmouth, a charming port town on Nova Scotia's southwest coast. Start your day with a brisk stroll along the colorful houses and lively wharves and enjoy the warm atmosphere that permeates the village. Along the way, visit the iconic Cape Forchu Lighthouse and enjoy the spectacular ocean views. After a day full of impressions, return aboard for a relaxing evening.
Day 10: Eastport
Today you visit Eastport, the border town separating the United States and Canada. This is where the first French settlers settled in 1604. Delve into its history and visit the Saint Croix Island International Historic Site. Stroll past the elegant mansions that recall the thriving sardine industry of the 19th century. Admire the beautiful coastline and visit the Old Sow Whirlpool and spot various seabirds and marine mammals.
Day 11: Day at Sea
Today you will enjoy a day at sea. Take time to relax at leisure and take advantage of the many facilities on board.
Day 12: Boston
Your first stop on American soil is Boston, also known as "America's Walking City. Follow the famous Freedom Trail, clearly marked with a red line, and discover the city's most important historical sites while walking. Sample a lobster sandwich at Quincy Market and explore North End, the cozy Italian neighborhood. End your visit in Beacon Hill and observe the charming streets and numerous historic homes.
Day 13: Oak Bluffs
On your penultimate day, the ship anchors at Oak Bluffs. Enjoy the relaxed island atmosphere that has attracted celebrities and presidents for years, explore the colorful Gingerbread Houses, built by the Methodist community more than a century ago, and observe "The Flying Horses," the oldest wooden carousel in the United States. In the late afternoon, return aboard for a final evening at sea.
Day 14: New York
On your last day, the highlight awaits you: New York. The largest city in the United States. Take your time to explore the five iconic boroughs: Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx and Staten Island. Visit the iconic landmarks that make this metropolis so special: Times Square, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Central Park and the Statue of Liberty. You will return home with a backpack full of great memories from this wonderful trip.
