Day 1: Arrival in Phnom Penh

Welcome to Cambodia!!! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by your private guide and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you will have the rest of the day free to acclimate briefly or explore the neighborhood in advance.

Day 2: Discover Phnom Penh

Today you will explore the dynamic capital city of Phnom Penh. You'll visit the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, where an emerald Buddha shines. Afterwards, dive into Cambodia's gripping history at the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum, a former Khmer Rouge detention center. In the evening, cruise the Mekong River and watch Phnom Penh's skyline turn golden hues at sunset.

Day 3: National Museum & free afternoon

The morning is dedicated to Khmer art at the National Museum, where you will admire masterpieces and ancient sculptures. Then you have the afternoon free. Enjoy the facilities of your hotel or explore the city at your own pace.

Day 4: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap

After breakfast, fly to Siem Reap, the gateway to Angkor. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Khmer dance performance at a Cambodian dinner.

Day 5: The temples of Angkor

Today you will immerse yourself in the temple complexes of Angkor. Together with your private guide you will put together your ideal itinerary, but highlights such as Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm are certainly not to be missed. In the late afternoon you will drive past the ancient East Baray water reservoir and enjoy a sunset with snacks and cocktails. In the evening, a visit to Phare, the Cambodian circus show, is on the program.

Day 6: By jeep to Kbal Spean & Banteay Srei

You trek into nature and hike to Kbal Spean, where ancient riverbeds with carvings are hidden. Then visit the beautifully detailed Banteay Srei temple, a jewel of Khmer art. On the way back, stop at the Landmine Museum, where you will learn more about the impact of the past on the land.

Day 7: Floating villages & jungle temples

In the morning you will visit the mysterious Beng Mealea temple, hidden in the jungle and largely taken over by nature. In the late afternoon, board a private yacht for a cruise on Lake Tonlé Sap. As the sun sinks, enjoy snacks and drinks overlooking the floating villages.

Day 8: Siem Reap - The Cambodian Islands

You take a domestic flight to Sihanoukville and continue your journey by boat to an island paradise. Upon arrival, check in at your resort and have the rest of the day free to relax.

Day 9: Relaxation on the island

Today is all about rest and nature. Enjoy the white sand, azure waters and pristine surroundings.

Day 10: Active exploration of the islands

For those looking for something a little more adventurous: explore marine life with a snorkeling excursion or go kayaking along the coastline. Prefer to relax? Then a beach day is perfect.
