Profile

For travellers who enjoy characterful cities with history and a lively social scene.

Day 1: Arrival in Dublin

After arriving in Dublin, check in and head straight into the city. Stroll down O’Connell Street and cross the iconic Ha’penny Bridge, where the hustle and bustle of city life immediately comes to life: trams ringing their bells, street musicians playing, locals greeting one another. In the evening, Temple Bar awaits, a lively neighbourhood full of cobbled streets, colourful facades and music spilling out of every pub. Here you’ll immediately get a taste of why Dublin is so irresistible.

Day 2: Trinity College and The Book of Kells

Today you’ll delve into the city’s history. On the campus of Trinity College, founded in 1592, the serene atmosphere of centuries of academic life still lingers. In the imposing library lies the Book of Kells, a masterpiece of medieval calligraphy that brings together craftsmanship and faith on every page. Round off the day with a stroll along the Liffey, as the city slowly takes on the colours of the evening light.

Day 3: Cathedrals and castles

The Gothic splendour of St Patrick’s Cathedral is one of Dublin’s highlights. The stained-glass windows colour the light falling on the stone floor and bring history to life. Not far from there lies Dublin Castle, once the centre of British rule, now a cultural stronghold brimming with stories. Spend your final evening at The Church, a restaurant in a former church, where the vaults still softly echo with the past.

Day 4: Final moments in the city

After breakfast, head into the city one last time. Stroll along Grafton Street, where street musicians create a lively atmosphere, or enjoy a relaxed lunch topped off with a glass of Guinness. Then it’s time to say goodbye to this characterful city and return to the airport for your flight.

What should you expect in terms of budget?
