DAY 1: Arrival in Muscat
Upon arrival at Muscat airport, after immigration and customs, you will be welcomed by your driver in the arrivals hall who will transfer you to your hotel on the coast. Enjoy a quiet afternoon as an exciting diving adventure follows tomorrow. Later in the evening you and your dive instructor will discuss dive plans and safety regulations for the next few days. DAY 2: Diving at Damaniyat Islands and evening tour of Muscat
After breakfast, depart for your first diving excursion to the Damaniyat Islands. In the crystal clear waters, you will discover colorful coral reefs full of life, where you will swim among the colorful fish, turtles and other unusual sea creatures. After the dive you return to your hotel to enjoy the underwater world for a while. In the evening you will experience the magic of Muscat "by night." You start the excursion with a visit to the illuminated Sultan Qaboos Mosque, followed by a walk along the Mutrah Corniche. Explore the bustling Mutrah Souq and admire the illuminated forts Al Jalali and Al Mirani overlooking the city. Enjoy a traditional Omani meal and end the evening with a drive past iconic sites such as the Royal Opera House.
DAY 3: Diving at Damaniyat Islands
After breakfast, continue your underwater exploration at the Damaniyat Islands. You will visit new dive sites and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of marine life. In the evening, you are free to relax.
DAY 4: Diving at Damaniyat Islands
You will start the day with a delicious breakfast and continue your diving adventure in the Damaniyat Islands. Explore your favorite dive sites again or discover new locations and capture the beauty of this underwater paradise. In the evening you are free to relax and enjoy your experiences.
DAY 5: Day trip Nizwa & Misfat Al Abriyeen
After breakfast, you will depart for Oman's interior with your driver-guide. Today you will explore Nizwa and Misfat Al Abriyeen. Nizwa is known for its ancient fortress and traditional souks. Dive into the local culture and enjoy the lively markets and impressive architecture. Next, drive to picturesque Misfat Al Abriyeen, a quaint village built on rocks and surrounded by date palms and a "falaj" an ingenious irrigation system. You will stop at the Al Hamra viewpoint to enjoy stunning panoramas of the Jabal Akhdar Mountains before returning to your hotel in Muscat.
DAY 6: Return home
After breakfast, leave for home with unforgettable diving memories. Need a little more vacation? Extend your trip by exploring the mountains and desert.
