Day 1: Departure to Turin

You will arrive by plane in Turin and take a transfer to your hotel. If you are travelling with your own car, park your car in the hotel car park and check in. You will explore the city and end your day in one of the excellent restaurants. For those who like to shop, your options include Turin's biggest shopping street which is car-free.

Day 2: Turin

Visit the Egyptian Museum, where you can find more than 30,000 artefacts. Young children can explore the Egyptian world through interactive methods. Those who love all things film can visit the Film Museum. Not only is this a beautiful building, but it also consists of 5 floors where you dive into the history of film production. The highlight for your kids is when you take the glass lift up to the top. From the panoramic terrace, you have a great view of the city. Finally, take the little red train that takes you to Basilica Superga. Not only the train ride is fun but the basilica itself and the view are very stunning.

Day 3: Piedmont

You check out of your hotel and drive on to the next Caractère hotel in the heart of Piedmont. The drive takes about an hour and a half. In the afternoon, a family cooking workshop is on the programme. The perfect way to discover all the cooking secrets of this region.

Day 4 : Vespatour

Today you will set out on a Vespa and explore the region using a GPS with routes selected by you. Many Vespas are equipped with a sturdy seat on the back making it suitable for children from six years old. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes as you and your children discover Piedmont's winding roads and charming villages.

Day 5: Truffle quest

Whoever says Piedmont, says truffles. Search for the best truffles in the world and literally dive into the woods with a guide and a truffle dog. Kids will love this scavenger hunt. Afterwards, visit a beautiful, local beekeeping facility where you have lunch among the orchards. Taste delicious different types of honey with fruit and discover the story behind this magical place.
