Day 1: Arrival in the Priorat

Today you will get to know what the Priorat really stands for: wine! After breakfast, head to a nearby bodega, such as the renowned Clos Figueras or the historic Scala Dei, where you will learn all about the intense, characterful wines of this region. During a fascinating tour and tasting, you will taste the soul of the region. After lunch at the winery or in charming Gratallops, drive to the breathtakingly located Siurana. This tiny village perched on a rocky cliff treats you to spectacular views and a mystical atmosphere. Stroll through the steep streets, admire the ruins of the Moorish castle and get carried away by the legend of the princess. In the evening, another delicious dinner awaits you.

Day 3: Natural Park of Montsant

The Priorat region lends itself enormously to active exploration. If you are a hiker, hiker, mountain biker, paraglider or mountain climber or you like to go canoeing, then Priorat is the perfect place for you. You'll take an active excursion to the Montsant Natural Park, known for its beautiful hiking trails and breathtaking views. Choose a route that suits your interest and skill level, and enjoy the natural beauty of the region. For the adventurous types, there is also the possibility of climbing or abseiling with experienced guides.

Day 4: Reus

After breakfast, you will depart for Reus, the birthplace of Gaudí. You will visit the interactive Gaudí Centre, where you will learn about the world of this master architect in an accessible way. Then you walk along the most beautiful modernist buildings of the city. You have lunch on an attractive terrace and who wants, can do some shopping in the lively shopping streets of Reus. In the late afternoon you return to the hotel, where you finish the day at your own pace.

Day 5: Escaladei - Porrera - La Vilella Baixa

Today you will dive into the history of Priorat. You'll visit the impressive Carthusian monastery of Escaladei, Spain's first Carthusian foundation. Walk along the ancient walls and taste the peace that still hangs here. Afterwards, follow a scenic route past charming wine villages such as Porrera and La Vilella Baixa.

Day 6: E-bike tour through the vineyards

Today you will rent an e-bike and discover the beautiful landscapes around the hotel at your own pace. With a handy virtual guide, you will determine your own route and trek along quiet roads, winding paths between vineyards and picturesque villages - ideal for taking photos, making a wine stop or just enjoying the view. After an active day you return to the hotel, where you can rest your legs by the pool or on the terrace. In the evening you will enjoy - as the icing on the cake - a refined tasting menu, a delicious end to a week full of discoveries.

Day 7: Back home

After a final sumptuous breakfast, you'll bid a quiet farewell to this beautiful place. Perhaps you'll take a short morning walk through the vineyards or stop in Gratallops en route for one last souvenir. One thing is certain: you will return home with a head full of stories, a heart full of peace and - who knows - a bottle of Priorat in your suitcase.
