Your experience trip starts in Antequera and the El Torcal National Park, which undoubtedly hosts one of the most remarkable landscapes in southern Spain. You will also explore Córdoba, with its world-famous Mezquita and charming narrow streets. The beautiful historic centre of Baeza and charming Úbeda, one big Renaissance open-air museum!

Finally, through Spain's main olive centre, you will travel to the lively university city of Granada. DAY 1: DEPARTURE TO MÁLAGA / ANTEQUERA

Finally, you're off on your journey! First you will fly to Málaga and after picking up your rental car you will drive to your first stop, in Antequera.

DAY 2: ANTEQUERA AND EL TORCAL NATIONAL PARK

Antequera has long been of strategic importance, and it is still a harmonious city, with its Alcazaba (the first fortress recaptured by the Christians), numerous churches, monasteries and palaces. El Torcal is a 12 ha natural park with bizarre limestone formations: one of Spain's most remarkable landscapes.

DAY 3: ANTEQUERA - CÓRDOBA

Through La Subbétuca National Park with impressive landscapes and unspoilt villages such as Iznájar, continue your journey towards Córdoba, and get to know one of the most beautiful Andalusian cities, where you will spend two nights at the excellent Palacio del Bailío.

DAY 4: CÓRDOBA

Visit the historic centre, including the 'Mezquita', the 'Judería', the Puente Romano, the Alcázar.... and soak up the Spanish atmosphere.

DAY 5: CÓRDOBA - ÚBEDA

From Cordoba, drive to Andújar, important for olive cultivation and with an attractive centre, then continue towards Baeza.

DAY 6: ÚBEDA AND BAEZA

Today is the ideal day to visit charming Baeza, with its beautiful historic centre and Úbeda (10 km): one big Renaissance open-air museum!

DAY 7: JAÉN - GRANADA

You will drive to Jaén, Spain's main olive centre, with its imposing Moorish fortress and after a refreshing lunch continue your tour towards Granada, where you will spend three nights in a hotel of your choice.

DAY 8: GRANADA

Visit this lively university city, with the Alhambra and the gardens of the Generalife, the former gypsy quarter Albaicín, the cathedral and the royal chapel. Let us know if you'd like to visit the Alhambra, and we'll book your ticket in advance!

DAY 9: EXPLORE THE SURROUNDINGS OF GRANADA

Plenty of choice today! Go for a visit to Fuente Vaqueros, the birthplace of Federico García Lorca, or for the typical villages on the Ruta del Califato: Víznar, Alfacar, Cogollas Vega, Güevéjar. For those who love impressive natural beauty, go to Las Alpujarras, featuring numerous spectacularly located villages, where the Moors, when expelled from Granada, took refuge.

Up for more fun? Return via Guadix, renowned for its cave dwellings.

Do you lean towards the gourmet experience? We'd be delighted to take you to an olive grove and oil mill from the early 20th century, where you'll learn everything about the "aceituna," from the tree to the press, and how it slowly transforms into one of the healthiest, natural, and flavorful foods in contemporary cuisine. As a cherry - or rather - olive on top, you'll learn how to taste olive oil and recognize the different types of olive oil. From simplicity to luxury. In the clear waters of Riofrio, they have been breeding trout and sturgeon for over 50 years. During a guided tour with tasting, you'll be immersed in the wonderful world of caviar and discover why these little eggs are so precious and exclusive.

DAY 10: GOING HOME

Everything comes to an end, including this wonderful holiday. You drive back to Malaga (± 140 km) completely fulfilled, where you will hand in your rental car and fly back home.
