Day 2: Towards mythical Mount Olympus
After breakfast, leave the city behind and head inland towards the legendary Mount Olympus. The closer you get to the charming mountain village of Litochoro, the more impressive the peaks become. Today is entirely up to you. Take a brisk hike towards Prionia or explore one of the many walking trails winding through the park. Prefer a dose of history? Visit the archaeological site of Dion at the foot of the mountain, where you can wander among the ruins of ancient temples and theatres nestled in lush greenery.
Day 4: The floating monasteries of Meteora

After a relaxed morning, continue deeper into the Pindus Mountains towards the picturesque town of Metsovo. This traditional mountain town is famous for its characteristic stone houses with wooden balconies, centuries-old woodcarving craft, and its renowned smoked Metsovone cheese. Stroll along the cobbled streets, browse the artisan shops, and settle down on the central square with a glass of local Katogi wine.
