Round trip Ibiza and Formentera

8 Days - 7 Nights

Ibiza and Formentera are so much more than sun, sea and partying. This trip takes you to authentic Ibiza, where you'll wander the narrow streets of Dalt Vila, discover hidden coves and enjoy the magic of a sunset at Es Vedrà. In the green north, you'll drive past rolling hills and white villages, while the south surprises you with the unique salt flats of Ses Salines. After a few days on Ibiza you set course for the small, paradisiacal Formentera. Here you will explore the idyllic beaches of Platja de Ses Illetes and Cala Saona, drive past vineyards and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere the island is known for. A wine tasting at Cap de Barberia completes the experience.

Day 1: Arrival in Ibiza

After your flight, check in at the hotel. After arriving at the airport, drive to your hotel, where you'll check in quietly and catch your breath. Take time to relax by the pool or with a first walk in the area.

Day 2: Ibiza Town

Today you'll start in the island's atmospheric capital. Wander the cobblestone streets of Dalt Vila, the historic heart of Ibiza Town and UNESCO World Heritage Site. From the city walls, enjoy stunning views of the harbor and Mediterranean Sea. Stroll through boutiques selling handmade jewelry and fashion, and stop for lunch of sophisticated tapas on an atmospheric terrace. End the day with a drink by the water as the yachts sway gently in the harbor.

Day 3: The Green North

Today you'll explore the quieter, authentic north of Ibiza. Start the day with a refreshing swim at Cala Xarraca or Cala d'en Serra, small coves with crystal-clear waters and pristine surroundings. Depending on the day, visit the colorful hippie market Las Dalias or the charming village of Sant Joan, where the atmosphere still feels bohemian. Drive through green hills and stop in villages like Sant Carles or Sant Miquel, where traditional Ibiza is still tangible. Here you can taste the peace and rhythm of the island.

Day 4: Southern Ibiza, Ses Salines

The day begins in the Ses Salines nature reserve, where ancient salt flats form a unique landscape. This protected area is a haven for migratory birds and offers a beautiful contrast between white salt mountains and blue lagoons. Then it's time to relax on the coast: choose a beach day at Cala Comte, Cala Bassa or Cala Tarida, each with its own charm and turquoise waters. Finish with a magical sunset at Mirador Es Vedrà, where the silhouette of the mystical rock Es Vedrà rises from the sea.

Day 5: Ferry to Formentera

Today you exchange Ibiza for small, paradisiacal Formentera. After a short ferry ride, rent a scooter or bike to explore the island at your own pace. First stop: Platja de Ses Illetes, one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, with fine white sand and a sea that shows all shades of blue. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the water or lunch at a beach restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. In the afternoon, drive toward Cap de Barbaria, where the iconic lighthouse and rugged cliffs provide a spectacular backdrop at sunset.

Day 6: Formentera

You begin the day in Sant Francesc Xavier, the humble capital of Formentera. Stroll the atmospheric streets and visit the Iglesia de San Francisco, a church built in the 18th century as a fortress against pirate attacks. Afterwards, the coast beckons: Cala Saona is an idyllic cove with crystal clear waters and surrounded by cozy beach restaurants. There is a relaxed atmosphere here, ideal for enjoying the tranquility of the island for a while. Stay until evening and admire how dozens of boats anchor in the warm glow of the setting sun.

Day 7: Wine tasting

Today is all about the taste of Formentera. At the Cap de Barberia winery you will taste wines that perfectly reflect the island. Amid vineyards and olive groves, you will learn more about the winemaking process and taste not only the famous red wines, but also the playful "Hippie Wine," which, with its colorful packaging, is an instant perfect souvenir.

Day 8: Back home

Your trip comes to an end, but not without one last look at the turquoise waters of the Balearic Islands. Take the ferry back to Ibiza and then your flight home, with memories of hidden coves, sun-drenched beaches and the unique atmosphere of Ibiza and Formentera.
