Day 1: Departure to Cape Town
Today you will take the international flight towards Africa.
Day 2: Cape Town
After a long flight, you will arrive in Cape Town where you will be picked up by your private driver who will take you to your hotel. You will stay in a historic area of the bustling V&A Waterfront, with plenty of cozy cafes and restaurants.
Day 3: Cape Town
Cape Town is one of the most beautiful multicultural cities in the world with impressive mountains, beautiful beaches and a vibrant city center. You climb Table Mountain on foot or by cable elevator and enjoy stunning 360° views of Cape Town. Together with your private guide, you will also explore the city by bicycle. Your guide will tell you all about the history and culture of Cape Town.
Day 4: Cape Peninsula
Today you will explore Cape Peninsula. A boat takes you to Diving Island where some 6,000 Cape fur seals live. Via Chapmans Peak, a breathtaking panoramic route, you head towards Cape of Good hope where you visit the Cape of Good hope Nature Reserve. Get ready to spot animals. Enjoy the luxurious and pearly white beaches of Camps Bay and walk among the penguins in Simons Town.
Day 5 - 7: Gondwana Game Reserve
Today you continue to the Gondwana Game Reserve where you stay two nights in a beautiful lodge in the middle of the park with breathtaking views of the vast plains and mountains in the distance. Day 7 - 9: Plettenberg
Plettenberg is known for its miles of golden beaches. Here you will stay at a five-star hotel with breathtaking views of Plettenberg Bay, the ultimate place to escape all the hustle and bustle. The next two days are scheduled for a visit to the Robberg Nature Reserve. This is home to the Cape fur seals, a marine reserve, as well as a national monument because of its Stone Age caves. You will also go to the Keurboom River Nature Reserve in search of the vervet monkey and the blue diver, among others. From July to November, you can even spot whales in Plettenberg.
Day 9 - 10: Oudtshoorn
Via Gondwnana you continue to Oudshoorn, a small town known worldwide as the ostrich capital. You will stay in a beautifully renovated homestead a stone's throw from the Swartberg Pass, one of the most beautiful mountain passes in South Africa. Among other things, you will visit an ostrich farm and the Cango Caves, the only public cave system in South Africa.
Day 10 - 13: Franschhoek
Early in the morning you will meet South Africa's cutest inhabitants, the meerkats. Then you'll set out for Franschhoek. Once Franschhoek was called "Olifantshoek" courtesy of the many elephants that took up residence here. Today it is the culinary capital of South Africa. The program includes a private wine tour where you visit three different wineries and, of course, taste their wine. You will also visit the city together with a local who will tell you everything and show you how people live together. Moreover, you will make beautiful walks or bike tours in and around Franschhoek.
