Summer in Finnish Lapland

Day 1: Departure to Finnish Lapland

Your trip starts in the northern part of Finnish Lapland. You will stay at a hotel located right in the heart of the forest.

Day 2: Sámi Museum and Nature Centre

Today you will be introduced to the very rich and varied history of the Sámi and their role in contemporary Lapland. You will also get to learn a lot about nature and history over the centuries. You can easily spend several hours here. In the museum's shop you will find beautiful handmade products that you can take home as souvenirs.

Day 3: Husky Hike and Midnight Sun Hike

Dog lovers get their fill on a hike with huskies. You will visit the husky farm and get to know about 80 huskies staying there. Afterwards, you will learn how to prepare the dogs for hiking. With the husky pulling you along, the hike will go super smoothly. Weather permitting, the huskies get to swim in the lake before returning to the husky farm. Have you ever gone hiking at night while the sun is still shining? Experience the midnight sun during your stay in Lapland. You'll take a relaxing walk past the guide's favourite spots while a reddish-yellow glow lingers in the sky. Enjoy the stunning views, and drinks and snacks around the cosy campfire.

Day 4: Lemmenjoki NP Day

From the hotel, it's about an hour's drive to the Lemmenjoki region. You will explore this magnificent region through a boat ride in the river valley and by hiking through nature. Enjoy a delicious lunch by the fire while learning more about the reindeer and Sami culture. During this day trip, you will meet the reindeer and hear the traditional way of singing 'yoiking'.

Day 5: Electric Fat Bike Tour

Sports enthusiasts can join the guided electric fat bike tour on this day. After a brief introduction on how to use these electric fatbikes, you will head to the Inari and Jäniskoski region to explore it while cycling. The perfect way to discover the area! If you prefer to explore the region independently, rent bikes on-site.

Day 6: Husky on Wheels

Who can't get enough of the energetic huskies? Today you'll head to the husky farm again. And this time it's a trip full of adrenaline as you are pulled forward on a wheeled cart. Since there is no snow, the huskies can run a lot faster. Fun guaranteed!
