Day 1: Departure for Swedish Lapland
Your adventure begins in northern Sweden. The owners of your accommodation will be waiting for you at the airport and will take you to their estate. From here, you’ll continue to your private lodge in the heart of nature, complete with your own sauna and hot tub. If you want to enjoy yourself to the full straight away, you can book a massage to be held in your own lodge. Privacy guaranteed.
Day 2: Fishing
The nearby river and lakes are home to various fish, such as pike, perch and even salmon. You’ll head out in a small fishing boat or stay along the coast to find the best spots for catching fish. You’ll fish with lures, and your guide will offer tips on which ones to use.
Day 3: Fat Bike Tour
If you’d like to explore nature at a brisk pace, the fat bike is the ideal way to do so. There are plenty of local routes through the woods and along the Råne river valley. Fat bikes are challenging, but a great way to tackle varied terrain such as sand, wood, rocks and rugged trails.
Day 4: Guided Walk
Enjoy a guided walk in the beautiful forests surrounding your lodge. The difficulty of the walk will be tailored to your pace. Meanwhile, the guide will share stories about his experiences and Arctic life. During the walk, you’ll enjoy stunning views and beautiful wooded landscapes. Be sure to bring your camera so you can take some lovely memories home with you!
Day 5: Canoe trip
Today, a canoe trip is on the programme. Near your cabin, a guide will teach you how to canoe, and then you’ll set off together on the river past quiet and peaceful spots. As you glide gently through the water, there’s a good chance you’ll spot wildlife such as birds, moose, beavers and perhaps even reindeer. The guide will take you to the most beautiful landscapes on the water.
Day 6: Visit a Sami family
Today you’ll visit a real Sami family. They’ll introduce you to their herd of reindeer and tell stories about their history and culture. You’ll learn first-hand about life in the region.
Day 7: Return home
Time to head home with a rucksack full of wonderful memories.
