Vacations Andalusia

5 Days - 4 Nights

Among olive groves, pine trees and hillsides lies Finca La Bobadilla tucked away in the interior of Andalusia. This former country house was transformed into a luxurious residence, where you stay in peace and quiet but at the same time centrally located to explore Andalusia. From here you will visit the world-famous Alhambra in Granada, hike among jagged rock formations in El Torcal and discover the dolmens of Antequera. You'll drive past white villages, taste local olive oil at the producer's and along the way discover the landscapes, flavors and traditions that characterize Andalusia.

Day 1: Arrival in Andalusia

After arriving in Málaga, drive to Finca La Bobadilla, about 50 minutes from the airport. You'll stay in the middle of a 350-acre estate surrounded by olive trees and hiking trails. After checking in, explore the grounds or take a refreshing dip in the pool. In the evening, enjoy your first dinner on the estate, featuring Andalusian dishes and local wines.

Day 2: Granada and Alhambra

Today you'll visit Granada, about an hour's drive from your hotel. The highlight is the Alhambra, a Moorish palace complex with sophisticated architecture and views over the city. Stroll through the Nasrid palaces, the Generalife gardens and the Alcazaba fortress. Afterwards, have lunch in the Albaicín district and stroll through alleys full of whitewashed houses. You may also want to visit the cathedral and royal chapel, or finish with a flamenco show in the caves of Sacromonte. Then return to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

Day 3: El Torcal and Antequera

You start the day in El Torcal, a nature reserve with jagged limestone formations and hiking trails at altitude. Then you drive on to Antequera, where you visit the prehistoric dolmens of Menga and Viera. In the city itself, stroll past churches, plazas and the Moorish fort on the hill. Choose lunch on a local terrace, taste porra antequerana and enjoy the tranquility. In the afternoon return to the hotel or pay another visit to the Fuente de Piedra flamingo reserve.

Day 4: White villages and olive oil tasting

After breakfast, you head into the hills towards Iznájar, a typical white village overlooking the reservoir. You will wander through the alleys, visit the castle and enjoy the views. In the afternoon you will visit a local olive farm. You get an explanation of the entire production process and taste different olive oils. Back in La Bobadilla you conclude your trip with a final dinner, at the hotel or a restaurant in the area.

Day 5: Return home

Start your last day with a leisurely breakfast, a walk around the estate or a short wellness moment. Depending on your flight, you can make one more stop on the way to the airport, for example in Loja or at a local market. Then drive towards Málaga and return home.
