Pace
You stay on the same island for the entire week. Days are filled with snorkelling, boat excursions and relaxing on the beach. Some activities are guided, while others can be planned freely.
Highlights
The house reef of Mirihi Island Resort lies directly in front of the beach and is considered one of the best in the Maldives. During snorkelling and diving trips you may see turtles, reef sharks, manta rays and sometimes whale sharks. A sunset boat trip often passes pods of dolphins. You also visit a sandbank in the middle of the ocean for a picnic and a swim in clear turquoise water.

Day 1: Arrival on Mirihi Island
After a short but spectacular water flight from Malé, you land on Mirihi Island. On this intimate island without motor vehicles or crowds, you immediately feel: this is where you come to unwind. Check in at Mirihi Island Resort, breathe in the ocean air and end your first evening with dinner on the beach, under a starry sky like you rarely see.
Day 2: Snorkeling on the house reef
Today is all about the house reef, barely a few meters from your villa. Mirihi's reef is known as one of the most beautiful in the Maldives: with any luck you'll spot reef sharks, turtles and schools of brightly colored fish. Not so experienced yet? Then opt for a guided snorkeling tour. In the afternoon, enjoy a walk on the beach or a cocktail with a view of the lagoon.
Day 3: Diving in the South Ari Atoll
Diving enthusiasts will enjoy a guided trip to a nearby reef or wreck. The South Ari Atoll is world famous for its biodiversity and the chance to see manta rays or even whale sharks. Prefer to stay above water? Get pampered at the spa or take a Maldivian cooking workshop using local ingredients.
Day 4: Picnic on a deserted sandbank
After a short boat ride, step ashore on a secluded sandbank in the middle of the ocean. Enjoy an exclusive picnic with a view of nothing but sea and sky. After a refreshing swim you will return to Mirihi. In the evening, slide into Muraka restaurant, where fresh fish and shellfish are served over the water.
Day 5: Sunset cruise and dolphins
In the late afternoon you will depart on a traditional dhoni for a sunset cruise. As the sun sinks into the ocean, you sail past playing dolphins and changing colors on the horizon. With a glass of bubbles in hand, this is one of those moments that will stay with you.
Day 6: Free day on the island
Today you set your own pace. Start with a yoga session on the beach, go kayaking or paddleboarding on the calm waters, or opt for a massage in the spa's outdoor space. Fancy something simple? Find the shade of a palm tree and get lost in a book.
Day 7: Last day in paradise
Start your morning with breakfast on your terrace. Then snorkel one more time, or visit the resort's wine cellar - a hidden gem with an impressive collection. End your stay with dinner on the beach as you look back on a week of sun, silence and ocean.
Day 8: Return home
After a final morning by the water, you bid farewell to Mirihi. By seaplane, you return to Malé for your international flight - and home with memories as clear as the waters around the island.
