Hotel Senhora da Rosa is located on an old orange and pineapple plantation of three hectares, between the hills and the sea. The former farmhouse has been carefully transformed into a small-scale hotel. Peace reigns in the botanical garden, warmth prevails in the rooms and the spa is all about relaxation. In the evenings, you can taste local flavors in the restaurant, using products from the island and its own garden.

Pets are welcome at the hotel, with a maximum of one dog per room. A supplement of 20 euros per day applies. On arrival, a water bowl, food bowl and sleeping mat are provided. The tourist tax amounts to 2 euros per person per day and is charged for a maximum of three nights.
On the estate, you will find a jacuzzi set among the pineapple plants.
All rooms feature a balcony overlooking the estate and the surrounding nature. The interior design is inspired by the landscapes of São Miguel, with green tones, soft materials and a mix of antique and modern furniture. Bathrobes and pool towels are provided in every room.
The Garden Lodge. These wooden lodges are inspired by the original cafuões that were once used to store grain. The bedroom opens directly onto a terrace surrounded by banana plants. The bathroom features an outdoor shower and a bathtub.
The hotel has two swimming pools: a saltwater pool and a heated plunge pool located in a greenhouse, surrounded by pineapple plants.
Guests who enjoy staying active can use the padel court, the pilates studio or the cardio room. Personal trainers are available on request. At the Musgo Spa, guests can enjoy massages with locally produced essential oils, as well as a sauna and a Turkish steam bath.
Children are welcome. A kids club with toys and games is available. Babysitting services can be arranged on request.
Casual chic
Hotel Senhora da Rosa has two restaurants. Restaurant Magma features seasonal dishes based on the culinary traditions of the Azores. Local products and ingredients from the estate play a starring role here.
At the Mirante Rooftop, enjoy Asian-inspired tapas and dishes to share, with views of the surroundings.
End the evening in the Magma Bar with a cocktail. On cooler evenings, a fireplace burns here.
Hotel Senhora da Rosa is located in the countryside, just outside Ponta Delgada, within walking distance of the sea. From the hotel, the entire island is easy to explore, with highlights such as Sete Cidades, Furnas, Caldeira Velha and the historic centre of Ponta Delgada all within reach.
