Cosiness prevails at the Croatian boutique hotel San Rocco, close to the Slovenian border and the Istrian coast. In 2004, the owners transformed an old family estate with a mansion and two annexes into a holiday resort with all kinds of comfortable facilities. Their warm hospitality speaks volumes. Their acclaimed restaurant serves gourmet meals with a personal touch. Definitely worth discovering!

They have small windows and a view of the village, garden or swimming pool. All come with parquet or carpeted floors, air conditioning, heating, telephone, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, free safe, and minibar. The vintage room, which was recently renovated, is our favourite room.
The outdoor swimming pool, set among olive trees, is open all year round. There are loungers and parasols available.
There is a small wellness centre with a free indoor pool, which is heated during the winter months, and a sauna. For an extra fee you can get massages and treatments. Just 5 kilometres away, you can relax on sandy beaches. Wine tastings are also possible in the hotel's wine cellar.
There is a breakfast buffet, which you can enjoy on the terrace when the temperatures are pleasant. The restaurant San Rocco, with a terrace, is known throughout Croatia for its refined and light gastronomic dishes, inspired by Istrian culinary traditions, enriched with an innovative touch, prepared with the best products from the region or from its own organic selection. The wine list includes more than 200 wines. The cuisine has been awarded numerous honourable mentions in both national and international gastronomic guides. The hotel has a second restaurant in the village, about 50 metres away, wine shop 'Konoba Primizia', where you can taste traditional Istrian dishes and purchase the best olive oil and wines.
