Châtillon-sur-Seine, south of the Champagne region and gateway to Burgundy, is a nice place along the banks of the Seine. All rooms are located in the main building, which is the castle, or in the surrounding new outbuildings. They are all decorated differently.
In the 'Pigeonnier' room you stay in a unique room. This was in fact the 16th century dovecote of the castle. This room has been beautifully renovated in contemporary style and with respect for authenticity. The bathroom is on the second floor and has a shower and 2 free-standing baths, the sleeping area is on the upper floor and has retained the original wooden beams and pigeon niches.
Take a refreshing dip in the beautiful outdoor pool that is heated during the season.
There is a wellness center 'Nuxe Paris' with jacuzzi, hammam, sauna, treatments and massages. Nearby you can play tennis, horseback riding and golf. There is a 9-hole golf course 25 kilometers from the hotel. Château de Courban is the ideal starting point to visit the Abbey of Fontenay (Unesco World Heritage Site) and the Mémorial de Charles de Gaulle in Colombey-les-Deux-Églises.
