He was a much-loved guest there and drew inspiration from the beautiful castle grounds for his world-famous book 'Alice in Wonderland'. According to local sources, he wrote the story in a nearby village.
The hotel's imposing rooms were each decorated by decorator Dorothée Meilichzon. Each room is inspired by a particular episode in the castle's rich history. You can always count on high-quality materials, large beds, spacious bathrooms with bathtubs and luxurious cosmetics.
