Today, it has been expanded and transformed into a fine hotel with 63 cosy rooms, a gourmet restaurant and a spacious and prestigious spa (free entry!). Within a 50-kilometre radius, you will also find all kinds of enchanting villages. And the 'Route des Vins', of course!

The rooms at Hostellerie des Châteaux & Spa are each cozy and tastefully decorated, each with a personal touch. Some rooms even feature a balcony or terrace where you can enjoy the pure French air. Also be sure to take a coffee or tea to unwind completely.
Our favourite room is the Romantique room, which is just that little bit cozier.
To unwind completely, take a dip in the heated outdoor pool with loungers and parasols.
The hotel's surroundings is an area packed with hidden gems offering plenty of outdoor and cultural activities. Do you like hiking or cycling? Well that's convenient, in the area you will find easily marked routes to practise your favourite activities. Go exploring in fairytale Obernai, visit the bustling city of Strasbourg or Mont Sainte-Odile, or take a drive along the Route des Vins where you will pass numerous villages full of charm. At the hotel itself, you can visit the prestigious spa where you will find two heated pools, ten saunas, several hammams and Jacuzzis and a fitness centre. Indulge yourself with massages and vinotherapy-based treatments.

Enjoy a neat and extensive breakfast buffet in the morning. In the gourmet restaurant La Table des Châteaux, chef Ernest Schaetzel always prepares exquisite dishes to please your taste buds. He devises delicious combinations inspired by the rhythm of the seasons and the refined cuisine of the region. Each dish is of course also accompanied by a top wine from the hotel's large collection.
This hotel enjoys a lovely location in the wine village of Ottrott. You are just 5 km from Obernai and 50 km from the Route des Vins d'Alsace. Mont Sainte-Odile is about 10 km away. Other enjoyable towns are also accessible from Ottrott, Strasbourg is 33 km away, Ribeauvilé 44 km away, Colmar 52 km away and Kayserberg 55 km away.
