All rooms are decorated differently, with classic furniture, and some overlook the marina. They all have tiled or parquet floors, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, heating, minibar, free Wi-Fi and safe. In the bathroom, which is often an open bathroom, you will find a bath and/or shower, a toilet, a hairdryer, a magnifying mirror, bathrobes and slippers. A sofa bed can be placed in rooms such as the Junior Suite, Deluxe Suite, Premier Suite and Presidential Suite. The sofa bed can be used to accommodate two children up to 12 years old or a teenager up to 16 years old. Connecting rooms and suites are also available.

Massages and treatments are available in the spa of hotel Villa Clarisse at about 350 metres. There is a hammam and Nordic bath, and you can have access to the outdoor swimming pool if you book a treatment at the spa. There is a public sandy beach at 2 km and a golf course at 25 km. You can visit the cosy fortified town of St-Martin-de-Ré. The ideal way to explore this flat island is by bike. There are plenty of cycling routes and places to rent bikes.
We recommend you to try the crispy prawns in Cajun sauce and the famous lobster pasta. For dessert you can try the chocolate, praliné and fleur de sel from the Île de Ré.

There is a continental breakfast served at the table, which you can enjoy on the terrace in nice weather. You can savour eggs and local specialities such as yoghurt, jams, pastries, cheese, etc. The trendy 'Le George's' restaurant with its large terrace and view of the little port offers light cuisine based on local and fresh seasonal ingredients with an emphasis on the culinary treasures of the sea, accompanied by the best regional wines. In the 'Salon d'Olivia' with patio, you can enjoy a drink or a variety of teas in a quiet atmosphere. 'La Cave de Clarisse' stocks more than 500 different bottles of wine, carefully selected by Eric Beaumard, 'vice-meilleur sommelier du monde' in 1998. You can create your own meal with the chef by, for example, buying your favourite vegetables. This can be requested 24 hours in advance.
The hotel is centrally and beautifully located, along the picturesque marina and close to the exclusive boutiques of the capital St-Martin-de-Ré, which is recognised as a Unesco World Heritage Site. La Rochelle is at 20 km, Rochefort at 54 km and Marennes, with its famous oyster farms, at 78 km. Ile de Ré is accessible via a toll bridge from La Rochelle for between 8 to 16 euros per vehicle there and back.
There is a transfer available between La Rochelle TGV station and the hotel, which costs 75 euros per journey.
