Hotel Vilòn was originally a 16th-century residence belonging to Palazzo Borghese, which the family rented out. Commissioned by Princess Adelaide Borghese de la Roche Foucauld, the building later became a school for underprivileged girls. The princess herself was a refined lady of generous and modern character. Her mission was to give the girls a good education and a better future. On May 13, 1938, the school was permanently donated to the Daughters of the Cross, who are the sole owners to this day. Through careful restoration, the old splendor and Art Deco style of the house was brought back to life, but complemented with a contemporary look and with intimate and cozy furnishings.
The hotel is open all year round.

A set designer, a photographer and an interior designer collaborated on the interior, which exudes the atmosphere of an aristocratic Rome with a cinematic touch.
The rooms are spacious and bright. They are sumptuously decorated in a retro style with attention to detail, warm colours, special artworks and accessories. The marble bathrooms have a rain shower.
Our favourite rooms are the Charming Garden room because it overlooks the gardens of Palazzo Borghese and the Charming Terrace room because it has a 15 m² terrace overlooking the same gardens.
The hotel might not have a pool, but with a city like Rome to discover, you wouldn't find the time to use it anyway.
