Hotel Immerso is located in Ericeira, which calls itself the very first 'World surfing Reserve' of Europe. You will find ideal conditions for surfers. Its 8 km of coastline has been declared the most ideal location for surfing in Europe. At Hotel Immerso, they take sustainability very seriously. The hotel is designed to completely blend into the landscape. Rainwater is collected to irrigate the gardens and the rest of the grounds are kept orderly but little maintained so that native flora and fauna thrive. The hotel is furnished with furniture made in Portugal, including some upcycled pieces, supporting Ericeira's artisan community. The food also comes from local producers and the hotel's own vegetable garden.
All rooms represent the perfect balance between comfort and simplicity, with the surrounding nature for inspiration. They are light and airy with lots of natural wood and earth tones. The rooms and suites all have a balcony or terrace with fantastic views of the valley and the sea.

It's quite a challenge to find a disappointing view here, let alone in a restaurant that overlooks the ocean. Our recommendation: a table on the terrace at sunset.
Chef Alexandre Silva runs restaurant 'Emme' where you enjoy surprising dishes every day. Authentic, regional dishes with a modern twist is what you can expect here. The ingredients are locally produced and prepared with a mix of tradition and creativity. In the outdoor restaurant 'Emme on Fire' you will enjoy crispy pizzas from the wood oven or other inspiring grill dishes cooked over the fire. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Take a seat at the long table or settle around the campfire. This restaurant is open subject to weather conditions in July and August.
Hotel Immerso is located on the west side of the Portuguese coast, in the traditional and cosy fishing village of Ericeira about an hour's drive from Lisbon. You may feel far from civilization on Portugal's wild Atlantic coast, but Hotel Immerso is actually only an hour's drive, about 50 km, from Lisbon airport.
Immerso is happy to provide a cab transfer from the airport to the hotel but we recommend a rental car as the hotel is fairly remote.
