Porto's traditional houses from the 19th century usually hide their architectural and decorative richness. Here, when renovating, the architect took a completely different approach. This former mansion, after a successful renovation, was completely restored. Remarkable elements such as the high ceilings and walls in traditional stucco, the beautiful wooden floors and magnificent central staircase are the eye-catchers of this renovated property. The decoration of the 9 rooms was fully adapted to the character of the hotel and are an oasis of tranquility in this lively city.

It doesn't always have to be the most expensive room types. We prefer the Deluxe rooms. Stylish décor in warm terracotta colours and floral motifs culminating in a cosy balcony overlooking Porto's garden and rooftops. Kick off your shoes, grab a drink, close your eyes and enjoy.
The hotel does not have a swimming pool but just outside Porto are some fine beaches where it is pleasant to linger in summer.

This is an 'adults friendly' hotel. Children are welcome here but no specific children's facilities are provided.
Definitely try the tofu Wellington with mushroom spinach, roasted potato and cauliflower puree. Or the crispy cannelloni with lemon mousseline, millet popcorn and citronella sauce. We couldn't choose and indulged in both dishes. Over delicious!
Smart casual.
The hotel's Jardineiro restaurant features a vegetarian menu. The colorful interior, a mix of plush chairs and Arraiolos rugs, goes well with chef Jerónimo Abreu's spicy dishes.
