The 18th century mansion that serves as the main building is a granite mansion that has been completely renovated. The 7 rooms housed in it breathe the era of the time. They have elegant and antique furniture but are equipped with all modern comforts. Here you will relive times long gone. Completely different are the rooms scattered throughout the domain. Architectural gems with a modern look and feel that completely blend into the surrounding landscape.
We are fans of the BRANDAS villas. These villas have a unique design and are designed to fully blend into the surrounding landscape. These exclusive accommodations feature all modern comforts and have beautiful, open views of the estate and vineyards.
On warmer days, unwind in the bio pool. A fantastic lagoon-shaped pool surrounded by a unique landscape and thought out in detail. Lush flower gardens and a waterfall create the perfect atmosphere to relax.
The limestone-built spa complex is sunk into the hillside and camouflaged by a roof with an herb garden on it. The spa has everything you need to relax: a heated pool, sauna, hydro massage and Turkish bath. Work out in the gym or take a walk on one of the numerous hiking trails around the hotel.

Dine at Restaurant Elmo which is located in one of the farm's former horse stables. The restaurant was named after one of their horses. Chef Paulo Magalhães' regional cuisine will make your mouth water. Typical feijoada bean stew, cured sausages, green broths, tender roasted lamb and grilled cuts of meat, complemented by Lavandeira wines and olive oil. An experience not soon to be forgotten!
Hotel Lavandeira Douro is located in the beautiful Douro region an hour's drive from Porto. From here you will discover the Douro and Minho region. At 1.5 km is the village of Ancede which you should definitely explore.
If you come by plane it is best to fly to Porto. The hotel is located in the Douro region, about 80 km away and is a 1-hour drive from the airport.
