Le Touquet, once affectionately known as Paris-Plage, is an elegant seaside town on the Opal Coast where the sea, charm and style come together. Picture long sandy beaches, grand art deco façades and villas tucked away between pine trees and dunes. The atmosphere blends French savoir-vivre with a touch of British elegance. Days are filled with tennis or golf, horseback rides along the beach, walks through the dunes or quiet forest trails. Watersports lovers are in the right place here, the coastline stretches for nearly 10 kilometres. But Le Touquet is more than just the sea. For decades, artists, writers and notable figures have been drawn here, from Winston Churchill and Marlene Dietrich to Sean Connery. They came for the casino, intimate exhibitions, festivals and vibrant nightlife. A refined escape close to home, where you both unwind and indulge.

British author Ian Fleming, creator of James Bond, drew inspiration from Hotel Barrière Le Westminster during his many stays. On 13 April 1953, he returned to the hotel and signed the contract for his 007 series in the hotel bar. The table he sat at is still there today, a quiet tribute to the moment the world’s most famous spy was born.
The rooms are decorated in a classic yet contemporary style and equipped with modern comforts.
Our personal favourite? The Prestige Room. Spacious, elegant and overlooking the park, the kind of place where you instantly unwind.
