The artisans of the Vista Alegre porcelain factory have created and hand-painted numerous works of art for the hotel.
All 58 rooms and suites have their own personality. Each of the hotel's three wings is differently themed. The rooms on Rua das Flores are decorated with floral motifs. On Rua do Alecrim, each room smells of rosemary, complemented by other natural elements. Rooms overlooking the larger Largo do Barão de Quintela are decorated with Vista Alegre biscuit porcelain, and in the suite they have retained the original ornate stucco ceilings.
Honestly, the Vista Alegre signature suite. Not the cheapest, but the nicest. 66 square meters of luxury in a vintage dress. Lots of light, ornate stucco ceilings and wonderfully soft armchairs to plop down in after a day of strolling through the city. Oh and yes, you can take a bath here while overlooking the city.
There is no pool at the hotel, but let's be honest: who has time for that during a city trip in this fascinating city?
From the moment you step outside the hotel, you can start exploring the lively Chiado district. From the hotel, you're within walking distance of several Lisbon attractions.
Children of any age are welcome here.
The Ceviche is "to die for"!
In Lisbon, you obviously prefer to dine in the city itself while overlooking the water or with Fado music playing in the background. But definitely give the hotel's new restaurant, Ponja Nikkei, a try. They serve a Peruvian and Japanese fusion cuisine that's unprecedented in Lisbon. Their restaurant "Ponja Nikkei" introduces a new concept to Lisbon. All of this in an elegant setting featuring vintage touches.
Located in the centre of the Chiado district, the hotel is surrounded by art galleries, hundred-year-old cafés, museums, theatres, bars, restaurants and shops.
The closest airport is Lisbon's. A taxi will get you to the hotel's entrance within half an hour.
We will gladly arrange a transfer for you from the airport to the hotel upon request.
The hotel does not have its own car park. You can park at one of the city's public car parks, about a ten-minute walk away.
A brand new boutique hotel in the centre of Lisbon's Chiado district. The place to be for anyone looking for a cosy hotel that is a stone's throw from all the sights.
