The name Nantipa means “blue” in the indigenous Chorotega language, referring to both the sky and the ocean. Nicoya is also one of the world’s rare Blue Zones, where people are known to live remarkably long and healthy lives.
The suites, bungalows and villas are filled with natural light and tucked away amid lush vegetation. Locally crafted furniture, light tones and natural materials such as wood and rattan create a calm, open atmosphere. At the Mumu Wellness Center, yoga, pilates, massages and body treatments take place in an open-air setting, surrounded by tropical greenery and natural sounds. Nature lovers can explore Cabo Blanco National Park or the Curu Reserve, both ideal for hiking and birdwatching. For a dose of adventure, ziplining at the Montezuma waterfalls or in Mal País offers spectacular views.
