Our favourite room is definitely the Sea view suite. There are views that deserve to be seen and the view from this room is one of those. Lean back and enjoy the sunset or the motion of the boats in Ponta Delgada harbour.

We love the arroz de pato, a traditional dish of duck and rice prepared in a wood-fired oven with local herbs, and the Ilha cheese soup.
There is an extensive breakfast buffet. The beautiful view of the marina is certainly one reason to dine at the renowned restaurant À Terra Fornaria, but the food is just as awe-inspiring. Traditional Portuguese cuisine is given a gourmet twist, focusing on produce from the Azores. The menu is seasonal, but you can always look forward to the catch of the day. The restaurant also features a Lobby Market, where you can sample numerous local products like cheese, wine, and sweets.
