Thanks to its numerous facilities, this resort really is a holiday paradise for families with (small) children. Outside the school holidays, couples can completely enjoy the peace and quiet and the beautiful panoramic views here.
The spacious suites have a terrace or a little garden and offer a view of the lake (except the 'Easy one bedroom suites'). They have a TV, telephone, radio, safe, air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, tiled floors, a shower, a toilet and hairdryer.
The 'Classic One Bedroom Suite' is our favourite room, as this room has a separate bedroom, a lounge with a sofa bed for children, a terrace or a little garden and a view of the lake. Couples will feel quite comfortable in the 30 m² 'Modern Junior Suite'.
The hotel has two outdoor swimming pools. In the 'Funpool', with slide and a separate children's pool, children can let off steam. At the 'Relaxpool' adults can enjoy the tranquillity and the beautiful view. Both pools have free sun loungers and parasols. Near the lake you will find a 3000 m² private beach with free sun loungers and parasols. Here you can rent pedalos, go surfing, sailing, water skiing and learn how to dive subject to a supplement.
There is a wellness centre, which is also open to children until 6 pm. It includes a free indoor swimming pool, sauna and hydromassage pool. Massages and treatments are available with a supplement. A tennis field and (electric) bikes can be rented. You can also work out at the free gym, play table tennis, practise archery, go skating, go wall climbing and play beach volleyball.
A babysitter can be arranged for babies on request. There is a free kids' and teenagers' club at the hotel for children aged two to fifteen. Your little ones can even get lunch and/or dinner there.
We recommend you to dress in a smart casual manner.
There is an extensive breakfast buffet. A light lunch is available at lunchtime, for example at the 'Parallelo Beach Lounge' which serves salads and grill specialities. During the summer months, you can head to the pizzeria by the 'Funpool' and Bar San Marco for ice creams and snacks. In the evenings, you can savour tasty and varied cuisine. 'La Masseria Mediterranean Grill', which is open from April to October approximately, offers regional and Italian dishes.
The hotel is beautifully located, up a hill, with a lovely view of the lake. The resort consists of several buildings, separated by garden terraces. It is right next to Lake Lugano, separated only by a road. Lugano and Lake Como (Menaggio) are 15 km away, Milan is 90 km away.
