This hotel was in the 15th century the home of a famous Portuguese aristocratic family. It was later used as a school and from 1920 became a hotel. The Noble House is the very first and therefore the oldest hotel in the city of Evora.
The 24 rooms of the hotel each have their unique features reflecting the life of the old Manor House. From glazed tile panels from the 17th century to balconies or private patios, each room has a different feature. All rooms are decorated in a warm, contemporary style, inspired by the traditions of the Alentejo region, creating a sense of harmony and serenity.
The most special room of the hotel and our favorite is the Garden suite. The walls of this room are the original Roman-Gothic city walls of Evora. Rest and comfort are combined with a touch of history. Cool, right? This suite also features a large living room and a spacious private terrace where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset.

Relaxation can be found at the hotel's bar or on the terrace.
Children of all ages are welcome. If you are coming with the whole family, we recommend the family suite. Note, however, that this hotel is a small city hotel and special facilities for children are not provided.
The best table is definitely on the terrace with a view of the historic city.
The restaurant, The Noble Bistro, is located in the old kitchen of the house dating back to the 17th century. Some original features such as the sink and the original chimney have been preserved, along with the glazed tiles from the 16th century. The menu is authentic, using only the finest regional and seasonal products. The delicious "Arroz de Pato à portuguesa" and "Bacalhau Espiritual" are classics that pay tribute to traditional Portuguese gastronomy. The terrace of the Noble Bistro is the perfect setting to enjoy the view, the warm afternoons, and sunsets while sipping a drink and enjoying traditional delicacies.
