In the heart of Lisbon, near Bairro Alto and the chic Avenida da Liberdade, stands The Vintage. The rooms, sleekly decorated with nods to the 1950s, are a stylish base. On the rooftop terrace, enjoy a cocktail with city views, while the spa and indoor pool provide a moment of pure indulgence. From The Vintage, it's a short walk to Lisbon's iconic neighborhoods and hidden corners.

The stern portrait of a female fado singer hanging above the bar was created by Portuguese artist Margarida Fleming. Her artworks can be admired in numerous art galleries in Lisbon.
The rooms live up to the hotel's name, featuring the best of mid-century design in a colour palette of rich and moody hues. All rooms were decorated with vintage furniture and bold artworks by local artists. The upper rooms have stunning views of the city through large floor-to-ceiling windows while the suites have a milder, more romantic feel.
We are fans of the vintage superior rooms. A stylish, intimate space with a terracotta colour palette, expressive artwork on the wall and sleek, modern furnishings. Not to mention a vintage DIY cocktail trolley in the corner of the room, which you use to mix your own gin-tonic. Just what you need after a day exploring Lisbon.
The hotel has a small water lounge in the spa where you can relax after a day strolling through bustling Lisbon.
The underground spa is small but stylishly decorated. Luxurious velvet, deep red walls and solid copper elements give it a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. The spa has a water lounge, a sauna and a hammam that you are free to use. Massages and other treatments can be booked by appointment.
Children are welcome here although we think this is more of a hotel for an adult crowd. The hotel does have cots and high chairs in the restaurant.
Weather permitting, you are only too happy to dine in the beautiful Bijou patio with its custom-made tables and vertical garden. There is a cosy atmosphere that perfectly suits the delicious dishes served there.
Smart casual.
Blue Bistrot serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Chef Joao Silva works exclusively with seasonal, locally sourced produce with which he creates culinary delights. After all that deliciousness, head to the rooftop bar for a refreshing cocktail and stunning views of the city. In less beautiful weather, take a seat in the bar the Hangout for a drink by the wood-clad fireplace.
Hotel The Vintage is in central Lisbon, tucked behind the wide Avenida de Liberdade and close to the botanical garden. A 15-minute walk puts you in the vibrant Bairro Alto district.
If you come by plane, it is best to fly to Lisbon. The hotel is a 20-minute drive from the airport.
The Vintage is happy to provide a taxi transfer from the airport to the hotel. The price for this is on request.
If you come by car, park it in one of the public car parks in the city. The hotel does not have its own car park.
A hidden gem in the heart of Lisbon and a place where vintage Portuguese design and timeless elegance blend together. From the custom-made 1950s furniture pieces that evoke the mid-century lifestyle of luxury and glamour to the uplifting color palettes and works by local artists on the walls, every aspect of this hotel was carefully weighed and considered. We love it!
