The hotel is set in a huge 150-hectare estate, many parts of which are still used as farmland. So don't be surprised if you see a horse strolling by here from time to time.

The rooms are all very spacious, so you certainly won't be short of space. For families, the Terrace suite can be connected into a two-bedroom home. These are stylish rooms in the main building and from here you also have a beautiful view of the estate. Our preference is still the Garden Junior Suite as here you enjoy a huge private garden. Perfect for those looking for privacy and romance.

There is no spa, but just behind the main pool you will find a garden dedicated to wellness with an outdoor yoga platform and an original Barraca converted into a treatment room. At the hotel you also have an outdoor cinema, can play petanque and participate in a wine tasting in the cellar. Nearby there are also various experiences available such as jeep tours, sunset picnics, stargazing, horseback riding along Cami de cavalls, water sports (Cala de Bosc) and archaeological sites.

Vermell, meaning 'red' in local dialect, is a tribute to the island's cuisine and serves traditional Menorcan recipes with a modern twist and a hint of influences from Spain, Britain and France. All ingredients are either home-grown or picked directly from the Mediterranean. In fact, the estate itself produces much of the restaurant's dairy products. Sa Clarisa is an alfresco spot where you can grab a bite from early morning to late at night. The menu focuses on fresh, summer favourites and Mediterranean dishes to share. For sun-drenched drinks, the pool area has its own bar. The main bar serves delicious Menorcan wines and innovative cocktails.
The hotel is 20 minutes from Ciutadella de Menorca. Beautiful beaches nearby are Son Saura, Macarelleta, Cala de Bosc, Cala and Turqueta. A 10-minute walk away is Cala de Son Vell, a small unspoiled cove.
