Villa Franca was once a private residence which was then converted into a chic boutique hotel, still run by the same family.
The rooms and suites are spread across three villas. They are bright and stylish, with white tones, modern furniture and works of art. Large windows let in plenty of natural light. Each room has a balcony or terrace overlooking Positano or the Mediterranean Sea.
We prefer the Deluxe rooms because they have balconies overlooking enchanting Positano and the glittering sea.
Take a refreshing dip in the pool and soak up the Italian sun on one of the loungers around the pool.
Large statues, ornate tiles, traditional steam baths - there's a touch of classic Italy at O'SPA. Yet the soothing massage and beauty therapies are made for life in the 21st century. After a soak in the hammam or Turkish bath, get yourself ready for the beach with a manicure or pedicure. If you prefer exercise to relaxation, Villa Franca also has a personal trainer and a well-equipped gym. Outside Villa Franca, winding roads lead you past pretty cliff towns and through some of Italy's most iconic landscapes. It's ideal for hiking, but the beaches around the hotel are the real stars.
