Villa Spalletti Trivelli, once the home of Countess Gabriella Rasponi, played a central role in Rome's political and cultural life in the early 20th century. Today, after careful restoration, this historic residence has been transformed into an exclusive luxury residence.
The 15 rooms are classically furnished and equipped with all the necessary amenities. They feature hypoallergenic mattresses and pillows, luxury marble bathrooms, organic bath sets, an original antique desk, flat-screen TV and a free minibar.
The Romantic Double Rooms are the smallest rooms in the villa, but are nevertheless very nice and spacious. The marble bathroom is spacious with a separate shower and bathtub where Occitane products are at the ready.
On the roof of the hotel, there are three jacuzzis open all year round.
Rome's bustling streets are right on your doorstep, but Villa Spalletti Trivelli's wellness centre is an oasis of calm. The tepidarium, steam room and relaxation area are the perfect places to unwind your tired legs from sightseeing. Or you can stretch them in the 24/7 gym, possibly with guidance from a personal trainer.
Children of all ages are welcome. Under-6s even stay for free. There are no extra facilities but a babysitter can be arranged on request.
Be sure to try the homemade ravioli with a butter sauce and sage.
During your stay at Villa Spalletti Trivelli, you can expect to taste the family's organic olive oil, Pomario, at least once. This is particularly delicious with freshly baked bread or drizzled over a salad. On hot days, you can enjoy a refreshing gelato or a glass of prosecco on the rooftop terrace. Sala de Papier Peint serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with homemade Italian dishes.
Villa Spalletti Trivelli is located on one of Rome's original seven hills, the Quirinale, close to Piazza del Quirinale and the Trevi Fountain. The hotel is ideally located for visiting Rome's sights and the Via del Corso and Via Condotti shopping streets.
The nearest airport is that of Ciampino at 15 kilometres. Leonardo da Vinci airport is 28 kilometres away.
A transfer is possible from 85 euros for two people.
There is free private parking for up to six cars.
Villa Spalletti Trivelli feels more like a house than a hotel. You feel like you are staying in a quiet villa but actually you are a very short distance from all of Rome's major attractions.
