Bordeaux is, after Paris, France's most beautiful city. With its nineteenth-century facades along the banks of the Garonne, majestic boulevards and a completely renewed tram network, this city has rightly been classified as a Unesco World Heritage Site. A city of unsurpassed beauty and a hip, young vibe. Ideal to discover by bike with an experienced guide. And because a man can never get enough of beauty and enjoyment, visit the immense, ten-storey La Cité du Vin museum. Not only a feast for you, but also for your senses thanks to the image projections, sounds and scents spreading through the space. And because a party for your senses is only successful if it includes tasting, visit a local wine estate with a tasting to complete the picture.
Day 1: Explore the surroundings
On arrival, check into your hotel just outside Bordeaux. Explore the area, relax in the spa or by your hotel's pool. If you can't wait to explore Bordeaux, you can take an evening stroll in Bordeaux before dining at one of your hotel's cosy restaurants.

At your own pace with audioguide, you will be taken on a journey of discovery through the world of vines, the wine-making process, stories and flavours as well as the fantastic architecture of this museum. The journey continues in the 'Bellevue' at 35 metres high with panoramic views over the city accompanied by a tasting that is a feast for the eyes and taste buds.
