Frequently asked questions about the Iceland winter tour
When is the best time to travel for this winter tour?

For the ultimate winter experience and the best chance of seeing the Northern Lights, choose the period from November to March. The days are short and the nights dark, which is perfect for aurora hunters, whilst the landscape is often covered in a fairytale blanket of snow.

Yes, a hire car is essential for your freedom, but we strongly recommend a 4x4 vehicle during this period.
