In Veneto, the doges have not only bequeathed countless landmarks, but also a refined gastronomic scene. It is impossible to visit Veneto without treating yourself to local delicacies like asparagus, chestnuts, truffles, chicory salad and delicious cheeses.
Food, of course, also means drinks. This experience trip takes you along the Strada del Prosecco, the site of Italian sparkling wines at their best, and lets you sample countless varieties of liqueur and grappa. The perfect end to a delicious meal.
Between tastings, you'll have time to stroll around numerous historic towns and picturesque villages in the region like Asolo, Conegliano, Treviso, Padua, Vicenza, Verona - and to top it all off, the romantic city of Venice.
Day 1 : Departure to Venice
Your trip starts on the plane towards Venice. On arrival, you'll pick up your rental car and drive around 60 kilometres to Tarzo. Here you will stay in a small-scale hotel with a beautiful location in the prosecco vineyards.
Day 2 : Maser - Asolo - Bassano del Grappa
The beautiful Strada del Prosecco will take you to the Villa Barbaro in Maser, a masterpiece by Andrea Palladio, the most influential 16th-century architect. You'll continue on to the walled town of Asolo and to Bassano del Grappa, famous for its glazed ceramics and its grappa.
Day 3 : Conegliano - Treviso
Via the small town of Conegliano, the Pearl of Veneto, you will head to Treviso with its medieval centre, its beautiful Piazza dei Signori and its canals.
Day 4 : Padua
On the way, explore Padua with its medieval Piazza delle Erbe, its baptistery and the Cappella degli Scrovegni with stunning frescoes by Giotto. You will stay in a historic hotel near Vicenza or in a small and charming hotel in the vineyards near Verona.

Make sure to explore typical neighbourhoods of the city, including San Polo and the Jewish quarter. You will stay in a new and modernly decorated hotel in the authentic Castello district or in a resort on an island just outside Venice and with a free shuttle service to the city centre.
