Dar Yuba is located right in the heart of the Marrakech medina. What used to be a traditional house (literally the 'house of Yuba') has been transformed into a small-scale, authentic 4-star riad. The hotel is built in traditional Moroccan architecture. At its center are the cozy patios with a heated pool, the perfect spot to relax and cool off from the sun after a walk through the city. With only 7 rooms in total, the atmosphere here is very personal and intimate. To enhance that homey feeling, none of the rooms have numbers, instead, they all have their own name. In the evening, you can just sit down in a casual outfit at the restaurant to taste the local Moroccan cuisine. A wonderful, peaceful base where you are welcome all year round.

That is definitely suite 'Dafia'. Thanks to the warm tones and incredibly cozy atmosphere, you instantly feel at home and can completely unwind.
At the center of the cozy patios lies a lovely heated pool. The perfect spot to relax with a good book and cool off from the Moroccan sun.
After an active walk through the lively medina, the riad is a wonderful oasis of calm to fully recharge. The outdoor pool on the patio is nicely heated, so you can enjoy a swim all year round. In addition, Dar Yuba has its own small-scale spa (Yuba Spa). Here, you can relax in a traditional Moroccan steam room (hammam) or treat yourself to a wonderful massage or beauty treatment in the treatment room. There is no gym available ,as is common in most traditional riads, as the focus here is purely on rest and relaxation.
Children of all ages are more than welcome. A nice extra for parents: a free babysitting service is available, so you can easily head out into the city just the two of you without any worries.
The classic tagine. It is slow-cooked in the traditional earthenware pot, allowing the flavors to fully come into their own. It’s a simple but incredibly flavorful dish that you really shouldn't miss.

You can enjoy really delicious Moroccan food at the restaurant. The chef cooks with fresh ingredients and traditional flavors, and the atmosphere is just as cozy and relaxed as in the rest of the hotel.
Dar Yuba is located right in the middle of the historic center (the medina) of Marrakech. You are in the perfect spot to explore the city, as you can walk straight into the lively streets and souks. At the same time, you won’t notice any of that hustle and bustle inside the hotel itself. As soon as you step inside, it is wonderfully peaceful.
It is best to fly into Marrakech Airport. From there, it is about a 20 to 30-minute drive to the medina, depending on traffic.
We are happy to arrange an airport transfer for you. The driver will drop you off as close to the hotel as possible. Because the riad is located in the medina, the last short stretch is usually on foot through the narrow streets. This transfer is available for an additional charge.
Renting a car is not really recommended for a stay at Dar Yuba. The streets in the medina are very narrow, busy, and often car-free, making it impossible to drive or park there. It is best and easiest to get around by taxi.
As far as we are concerned, Dar Yuba is highly recommended. You stay right in the heart of Marrakech's lively medina with everything within walking distance, yet the moment you step inside, the hustle and bustle completely fades away. With just 7 rooms, this riad is wonderfully small-scale, comfortable, and intimate. The beautiful Moroccan architecture, the cozy patios with the heated pool, and the delicious local food complete the experience. It is the perfect, peaceful base for a truly authentic city break!
