Owner Dominik built this retreat in 2008 to make his dream come true. In 2009, he welcomed his first guests there who could stay in one of the six chalets. Later, he met Amelie, they married and founded a beautiful family with three children. Love and renovations, such as chalets on the water, were applied to the entire residence, turning it into a luxury retreat.
The 16 unique chalets consist of four types. The luxury chalets are between 80 and 120 square metres. If you prefer something more modern, the lodges are a good choice. These have their own sauna, jacuzzi and a real fireplace. There is even more space in the lakeside villas. In addition to more space, the two-storey houses have direct access to the crystal-clear lake. The pool villas are even bigger and more luxurious: with their own heated infinity pool, they are the perfect hideaway for those who love the mountains and lots of luxury. All chalets are built from local wood and natural stone and blend in perfectly with the surroundings of the Tyrolean mountains.
The LakeSide-Villa is our favourite because of its large rooms and direct access to the swimming pond. Its own sauna, jacuzzi and fireplace also complete the chalet.
In the middle of the Tyrolean mountains lies a natural swimming lake. The crystal-clear lake is surrounded by six LakeSide-Villas, with direct access from your own terrace. There is also a separate area for all other guests who can also relax on sunbeds in the relaxation zones. The lake is heated by solar energy. The water temperature therefore depends on the outside temperature and reaches a pleasant swimming temperature even on warm spring and autumn days. In winter, the cold water provides a welcome cool-down after a hot sauna session. Moreover, the lake cleans and regenerates itself, without chemicals. In addition, the Gumpen Lodge and the pool villas have private pools.
Rent an electric bike through the hotel and explore the beautiful surroundings. You can also opt for a massage or join a yoga session on request. Activities such as skiing, wine tasting, BBQ and fondue can be booked through Caractère.

Go for an à la carte chalet experience. You choose your favourite wine from the private wine bar while they set your table, serve the starter, keep the main course hot and the dessert cold. Take a seat at the cosy dining table and be pampered within your own four walls. The delivery team wishes you a nice evening and lets you enjoy the delicacies in private.
Wake up whenever you want because your breakfast basket is already waiting for you in the front room of your chalet. From freshly squeezed juices and muesli with fresh fruit to crusty breads and a variety of toppings. You decide. Every day. During the daily rounds of the chalet village, they provide you with an egg dish of your choice upon request. In the afternoon, enjoy homemade cakes on your own terrace, with a cup of coffee in hand. In the evening, do you like to conjure up your own favorite dish in the equipped chalet kitchen? Tell us your groceries and your fridge will be filled for you.
If you feel like leaving the chalet for a while and having a nice dinner, you can always go to Restaurant Das Walters. Inspired by the international culinary world, Chef Manuel reinterprets the traditions of Austrian cuisine in his own way. For a true Tyrolean, it is very important to serve typical specialties of the country on the plate. The restaurant is open from Thursday to Monday.
The hotel's location invites you to escape from everyday life and completely unwind. Of course, there are beautiful hiking trails scattered throughout the region and you will find Innsbruck at 73 kilometres. Several small, cosy mountain villages can be found nearby.
