More than 90 years after its opening, the legendary Montesol Hotel in the historic heart of Ibiza is experiencing a new golden age, led by the Experimental Group and interior designer Dorothée Meilichzon. A cocktail of fresh colors and "hippie chic" influences. As Ibiza's first hotel, in its early years it was a Balearic gateway for celebrities and royalty. Pink Floyd, Orson Welles and Carolina de Monaco once stayed here.

You don't have to stay on the top floor to enjoy a sublime view of the Old Town. The Vara De Rey rooms on the second floor are spacious, have large arched windows and offer a beautiful panorama. For those who like it a little fancy: the Dalt Vila Suite features a fully mirrored bar.
There is no swimming pool available, but Ibiza is full of beautiful beaches you can go to.

We were impressed by the small private dining area with references to the underwater world featuring walls covered in shells and starfish.

Tapas-style dishes to share, washed down with a cold beer or some of the best Spanish wines from small producers. On the roof of the hotel, you'll discover a cocktail bar overlooking Dalt Vila.
