During World War II, works by Michelangelo and Donatello were kept in the villa's cellars, including sculptures from the Medici chapels and Florence Cathedral. After the war, the Rossi di Montelera family took possession of the villa and restored it. The current owners would like their guests to enjoy their beautiful historic estate and their passion for winemaking.
Rooms are classically and typically Tuscan furnished with soft colors, elegant furniture and traditional red terracotta floors. They have telephone, air conditioning/heating, minibar, safe, wifi and luxurious bed linen. They do not have a TV. The bathrooms have bath or shower and a hairdryer.
